Abstract
   Family is a social unit which is built based on marriage. in a general categorization, based on the kind of family as social unit, three different patterns of natural, agreement and realistic has been developed.  Islamic family has specifications which is most understandable in realistic approach. Realism is a perspective that accepts the world independent from us and is bound that we can recognize this world. According to this definition, family is an independent world and has a certain relation with our recognition. Emergence and persistence of family in realism approach is not only regarded as contract (agreement) and is not only considered as biological factor like sexual instinct (natural). Realism approach, considers both of these factors. In addition to accepting both contractual and natural dimensions, realism approach has not solely relied on these but it believes that family is a system having set of independent relations and people in forming family should know that they are entering a system having its special rules.it should be noted that in realism approach, all three levels of natural, contractual and system, are combined according to a general principle (nature).  With these explanations it can be said that this research has applied the provisions a special philosophy (realism approach) for explaining Islamic family (Quran). In order to this, ideas of two representatives of realism (philosophical) approach (Allama Tabatabaee and Motahari) have been reviewed in three parts of ontology, epistemology and methodology and in the next stage the proportion of Islamic (Quran) family coordination with this approach has been demonstrated. The obtained result of this study is that recognizing Islamic family coordination is in an integrated pattern so that through which special identity of this family is introduced.
